  • Best way to collaborate on a project with multiple animators

So programmers use one of the available version control systems for that like git, svn, mercurial. So I got 2 questions;
a ) Do you think best way is to still use GIT ? Can spine formats work flawlessly with git especially when merging etc ?
b )I find animators and designers are usually strangers to git and version control systems. Is there any other standard to collaborate on a single project without .rar'ing and sending whole folder

Thanks,
Burkay

Hello! This seems a popular topic recently, we've discussed this a couple of days ago here as well: Content Management / Collaboration

I personally think GIT is ok once you train the people, and yes, we artists are generally strangers to it but hand us a guide with screenshots and steps and we should be good >😃

As you'll read in the post, we're thinking about ways to simplify collaboration, so if you have any input, we'll be happy to hear about it (:
