  • Skins + Multiple Attachment Setup in Photoshop

Hi there,

I'm working on a project with multiple skins, and am wondering about the correct setup for slots with multiple attachments in Photoshop.

The attached image shows my setup in Photoshop. Each skin currently has the [slot:eye] group, along with a few other slot groups. However when I import it in to spine the eyes, along with the other slots with multiple attachments, disappear.

Can a skin have a slot with multiple attachments? Can this be automated by the photoshop to spine script? Or will I need to set this up manually in Spine afterwards?

Hello, this setup looks correct. (I would just avoid using spaces in the names to avoid possible problems at runtime, but it's the only thing).

Are you sure they actually disappear? Slots can only have one of the elements they contain active at the same time. So possibly the images are all there, but since they're in the same slot, only one is currently visible, but you should be able to see the list of the other attachments in Spine.

Could you post a screenshot in case you don't see them there in the tree hierarchy?

Of course it can! In fact that's one of the examples presented in the video tutorial here:

You shoudn't need to edit them manually afterwards.
