Rotating a plain round head, help!
I am sure this is a simple answer, but I cannot find a guide that offers the solution without adding many layers of complication, or doesn’t blast past the step too fast for me to see, so apologies.
I am trying to replicate the video below. At 26 seconds - two bones are created - however they are not long as I am used to, but just shown as targets as per the root. I can’t see precisely where they get placed.
These two then seem to work in opposite motion.
The mesh creation and weight painting I understand, but this step is confusing me, all other guides I found were long streams involving many bones and layers to the face.
Basically I would like to have a balloon with a face on it, and be able to turn this towards a cursor! Is there a simple guide to this I am missing that isolates this task?
Thanks for your patience
Hello, and you've come to the right place!
There's the owl example project which works exactly the same way:
Owl example: Head
And here's the most recent stream that explains this technique:

Hey Erika, many thanks for this, I was able to get pretty much everything I needed from these, and now have a better understanding all round. Many thanks for helping and all your work on these streams/tutorials
